FEBRUARY (2000) MINUTES

The February meeting of the Miami Valley (Ohio) Study Club was held at the Huber Heights Public Library. Nineteen members were present.

During the our business meeting we discussed special arrangements for our May 9th meeting and program on Caprice. We also were brought up to date on the progress of the Museum Design Committee from member, Georgia Otten. Some of our members have been helping Phyllis Smith prepare her glass for her auction in June, and more members are planning to help her with additional preparation in the next few months.

Our program on "Hurricane Lamps" was led by Larry Everett and included many examples that members had brought in for display and an informative handout.
