The exact production period of Aurora is not known but items seen in this color were common to the early to mid 1920s. Collectors generally call this Blue 1 as the name "Aurora" saw limited use in trade publications. Aurora is the lightest of two cobalt blue colors produced in the 1920s. Aurora will show considerable florescence under blacklight. |
